EAST LONDON

Friday 15th

  • Buccaneers, together with Jose Cuervo presents; Prince Kaybee live! Prince Kaybee will be at Buccaneers for his nationwide album launch tour! - I AM MUSIC from 8pm till late. Tickets are R70 pre-sold, for more information check out their Facebook page.
  • East London, summer is about to get a whole lot hotter. This festive season ELPAC brings you "Femme Fatale". From the same team who brought you the smash hits and sold out runs of Now thats what I call Broadway, Ooh La Lesque, ReVAMPED and Back to Broadway, we bring you something special. All this will be taking place at The Arts Theatre from 7pm, tickets are R110 per person and available at Lee Gold. For more information contact Nasine on 083 314 5134.

Saturday 16th

  • The Three Silos Parkrun takes place every Saturday morning at 8am. This is a 5km run, and it is you against the clock. Register with them today and enjoy a morning in the fresh air. 
  • The Venom Pit Snake Park East London Presents: THE SUMMER SLITHER. This December we are teaming up with the guys from Sounds Of Summer to bring you something different. Come join us for a day full of fun. You will be able to make full use of the park. Walk around and learn more about the animals and reptiles in the park. We will be doing a live show showcasing some of the animals, snakes and reptiles in the park. Tickets can be purchased from SMB Traders in Berea at 47 Pierce Street. Ask for Candice.
  • Summer days... and long hot summer nights. We've been waiting for this all year. Exams are done, summer holidays are here! Cocktails in your hand, light breeze blowing, friends, sun and house music, what could be better. Kyle Watson will be performing live from 7pm till late at the Sounds of Summer. Tickets range from R100 to R120, for more information check out their Facebook page

Sunday 17th

  • Tea in the trees, on the Chintsa west corner is now OPEN on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9am till 2pm. Their art, craft and home produce market is held on the last and first Sunday of the month. Only R50 to have a stall! Look at www.teainthetrees.com  or phone Kate 072 611 2367 for more details.
  • Jesse Clegg will be performing live from 5:30pm till late at the Emerald Vale Brewery. Tickets are R120 for adults and R60 for children. You can buy your tickets at the door or at Computicket. For more information check out their Facebook page


PORT ALFRED

Friday 15th

  • The Duckpond Morning Market takes place every Friday and Saturday morning. You can purchase some great goodies, including jams, pickles, second-hand books, cakes, second-hand clothes, quiches, crochet, knitting, plants and more!

Saturday 16th

  • The Woodlands Market takes place every Saturday beneath the trees at Woodlands Cottages and Backpackers in Grahamstown Road. Here you can enjoy some arts, crafts, delicious foods and more. The market opens at 8am.
