EAST LONDON

Friday 16th

  • Hailed as the Prince of the Saxophone, acclaimed saxophonist, Andrew Young, and his band will perform once again at the Guild Theatre. The show is an eclectic mix of blues and rock 'n roll, including Andrew’s unique performances of Watermelon Man, Georgia and Baker Street which have become the most requested songs of his repertoire. The show starts at 7:30pm and tickets are R150, for more information check out their Facebook page.

Saturday 17th

  • The Three Silos Parkrun takes place every Saturday morning at 8am. This is a 5km run, and it is you against the clock. Register with them today and enjoy a morning in the fresh air. This weekend the Parkrun celebrate Back 2 School with a themed run for the kids going back to school this year. Dress up as a student and relive your school days while enjoying the Park run as always. For more information check out their Facebook page.

Sunday 18th

  • Tea in the trees, on the Chintsa west corner is now OPEN on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9am till 2pm. Their art, craft and home produce market is held on the last and first Sunday of the month. Only R50 to have a stall! Look at www.teainthetrees.com  or phone Kate 072 611 2367 for more details.
  • Bring you doggie for a walk from Buccaneers to the wishing well and back as part of the Pet Pal Walk. Enjoy a lovely breakfast at Buccaneers afterwards. The entry fee is R40 per person and registration starts at 8am. For more information check out their Facebook page.
