Willowton Group’s sizzling new #nowwecooking website launches fun recipe contest

Things are heating up this winter with the launch of Willowton Group’s exciting new, food-dedicated #nowwecooking website – www.nowwecooking.co.za -  an interactive foodie haven that’s set to go live on 6 June. 

Further entrenching Willowton Group as leaders in the FMCG industry, the #nowwecooking website will provide up-to-date information on Willowton Group’s food-based product range while providing a user-friendly platform for interested foodies to gather new recipes that feature their branded cooking products.

To get the #nowwecooking website sizzling, Willowton Group will also be launching the exciting #cookingwithemojis competition where entrants stand the chance to win a host of prizes. To enter this exciting contest, food lovers just need to share their favourite recipe, using any Willowton Group product and relevant food emojis on the Now We Cooking Facebook page between 6 June and 3 July.

A leading Fast-Moving Consumer Goods’ organisation, Willowton Group is home to a variety of entrenched South African brands which add quality to every meal. Their food brands include

Sunfoil Sunflower cooking oil, Sunfoil Canola Cooking Oil, Allsome rice, D’lite spread, Sunshine D margarine, and WoodenSpoon margarine.

Any of these products can be included in the #cookingwithemojis competition entry recipes which need to be shared on the Now We Cooking Facebook page before 3 July. Entrants must include food emojis when sharing their recipes to stand a chance to be selected as one of the 20 finalists who will go head to head for the grand prize.  

Willowton Group chefs will be filmed cooking every one of the 20 finalist recipes and the videos uploaded onto the #nowwecooking site as well as the Now We Cooking digital media platforms – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. The public is invited to vote for their favourite finalist recipe from 9 to 15 July. Thereafter, the grand prize winner will be announced and featured as a guest on the Morning Show.

The public can vote, either by clicking the like icon on the website or liking their favourite recipe video post after it’s been shared to Facebook from the website. This means that finalists can share their recipe off the site and get their friends and family to vote for them on Facebook.
