OCTOBER 4, 2018

Luka Wine Farm, located in the Harkerville area of the Plett Winelands, have just been awarded a Silver for their 2017 Sauvignon Blanc and a Gold for their 2017 Rosé vintages. “It’s our first Rosé and we are extremely excited about this beautiful new addition to the Plett Winelands,” says owner Mark Barnard.

A milestone for Luka Wine Farm was when they were awarded the first Michelangelo Gold medal for any Sauvignon Blanc in the Garden Route, in 2016 for their 2015 Sauvignon Blanc vintage.

The Michelangelo International Wine & Spirits Awards is the largest wine and spirits competition in Africa and their judging panel includes international judges hailing from five continents and 17 countries.
