SWELLENDAM

Saturday 16th

  • It’s you against the clock every Saturday at 8am Swellendam, 5km park run it. The run starts at Marloth Nature Reserve Gate Don’t forget to register before your first run and bring a printed copy of your barcode. For more information visit: http://bit.ly/2kg7UZA


STANFORD

Friday 15th

  • Stanford is the place to be every last Friday of the month (except July and August) for the Sunset Market on the old village square, which has been awarded heritage status. This market really takes you back to the days when, I imagine, the farmers and traders used to have their goods on display for all to see and buy – it is STILL like that!! Exceptional home-grown veggies, home-made food, live music and real southern hospitality, where locals and visitors mingle after the sun has long set. Saturday 16th

  • The Stanford Saturday Market takes place every Saturday from 10am till 12pm in the square next to the Stanford Galleries (Art Cafe). Enjoy a market filled with organic produce, eggs, home bakes, preserves, and more. For more information contact Elsa Gebhardt at 028 341 0499.
  • Wendy Oldfield and Robin Auld will be performing live from 7pm till 10pm at the Stanford Hills Estate. These two combine a mix of djembe, soul vocals, harmonica, stompboard and African blues guitar stylings to create a fresh roots sound.  An evening of stellar entertainment from two of SA's top performers...not to be missed! Sunday 17th

  • The Stanford Street Festival is in its 5th year with this name, and we can't wait to see you in Stanford as we shut down Queen Victoria Street to traffic, and claim it for pedestrians! This free entrance carnival-style market includes kiddies' rides, gift stands, pony rides, street performers, wine and beer gardens, live music, a food court, the Stanford Dip. HERMANUS

Friday 15th

  • Jonny Luck is on tour promoting his debut album, "The Watering Hole Stories," a collection of tales and truths from his experience as a seasoned thirst prevention engineer and all round beverage aficionado. He will be performing live from 8pm till 11pm at Tapas Hermanus. Catch him on a Summer beardless tour this December, and make sure to get your hands and ears on some original dark folk booze blues! Saturday 16th

  • Hermanus parkrun - 5km Timed Run every Saturday at 8am. The event takes place at Hermanus Forest, Camphill Road, Hemel en Aaarde Valley, Hermanus.   • Join us at the weekly Hermanus Hemel-en-Aarde Boot Sale @ Hemel-en-Aarde Village in Hermanus every Saturday between 9am and 1pm.
