MONTAGU

Friday 28th

  • If you have never planned to hike one of the most remarkable routes in the Cape, then it is time to sign-up for Rim of Africa. This once-a-year wild hiking event is way off the beaten path and a must for every serious hiker. Applications are now open for the 2018 adventure. Saturday 29th

  • Village Market is held every Saturday morning until 12:30pm in the lovely Euvrard Park, Bath Street, opposite the Tourism Bureau.   • The Breede Valley Parkrun takes place every Saturday from 8am at the church square on Baring Street. You set your own pace and are timed for your own benefit.   • Former Idols winner Sasha-Lee Davids will be performing live from 9pm till 11pm at the Gold Valley Casino. After winning Idols she released her début album, “Sasha-Lee”. She had the opportunity to work with Jamie Jones, lead singer of the Grammy Award-winning group All-4-One, on a track entitled, “Before You”. WOLSELEY

Saturday 29th

  • The Wolseley Parkrun takes place every Saturday from 8am at the Mountain Ridge Wineries. You can start registering for FREE at www.parkrun.co.za/register. The parkrun SA team, lead by Bruce Fordyce, hopes to see you all at this inaugural parkrun. It is going to be a great morning out!


MCGREGOR

Saturday 29th

  • McGregor's almost blink-and-you-will-miss-it market pops up every Saturday morning. Trading starts at 9am sharp, ending anywhere between 10am and 11am, depending on the weather and the number of people (customers and stalls). From bakes and books, to cakes and koeksisters, knitted clothing and toys as well as the not-to-be-missed brakkie happies for your four-legged kids, the McGregor Market is always worth a gander. TULBAGH

  • The Tulbagh Arts Festival will be taking place from Friday till Sunday at the newly restored Cape Dutch home now featuring Makers Mark Gallery, where musical artist Emile Minnie will be entertaining guests with his unique style.
